In a recent study, researchers found that a high intake of deep-fried potatoes, red meat and soft drinks in 14 year-olds had a negative impact on their mental ability, attention span, learning and memory.
On the other hand, participants in the study with a higher consumption of fruits and green leafy vegetables had a positive effect on their mental performance.
